The Abduction of Patricia Jean Schneider, July 1982

Early in the morning on Sunday, July 31, 1982, Patricia Schneider, 25, who also went by the nickname Patti, completed her shift as a cocktail waitress at an Indian Hills Golf Course restaurant and nightclub. At 3:45am, after getting off of work, Patricia made a call from the Circle K market on Limonite in Pedley, Riverside County, CA, reporting her car had broken down. A clerk at the Circle K stated that he saw two white males with sandy hair in the parking lot while Patricia made calls from the phone. It's unclear if these individuals had anything to do with her disappearance. The Abduction & Murder of Kathy Neff, October 1980

Photo from FindAGrave.  At either 8:45, 9:00, or 11:00 am — sources differ — on Thursday, October 16, 1980, Kathleen Emilia Neff, 21, who went by the nickname Kathy, dropped her vehicle off at a Mazda dealership on Florin Rd near Franklin Blvd in Sacramento for service. She planned to pick the vehicle up later that same day. Contemporary sources differ as to how Kathy left the dealership. One states that she reportedly left the dealership on foot, "possibly to walk to her home on D Parkway." Another indicates that she "reportedly rode off in another vehicle with an unidentified person." Kathy was never seen alive again. She was last seen wearing a white knit top and blue jeans. She didn't reach her home and never returned for her car. She was reported missing by family and friends the next day. The Sacramento Bee published postings about her as part of their Secret Witness program, asking for information regarding her disappearance and whereabouts. ...

The Disappearance of Lulaida Morales Sejalbo, November 1973

Lulaida Sejalbo. Photo from NamUs . In 1973, Lulaida Morales Sejalbo was a 17-year-old Filipina girl living in Santa Clara, CA. At the time of her disappearance she was a student at Wilcox High School in Santa Clara, where she also worked at a McDonald's. Lulaida disappeared on Sunday, November 25, 1973, three days after Thanksgiving. All modern sources state that she disappeared on her way home from work. However, the January 16, 1974 edition of the Peninsula Times Tribune states that after having dinner with her family, Lulaida left to go bowling with a female friend; she was last seen at about 11pm by the friend as she started to drive home from bowling, and she has not been seen or heard from since. All sources, including the clipping, state that Lulaida was last seen wearing her McDonald's work uniform. On Wednesday, December 24, 1973 — almost exactly one month after her disappearance — Lulaida's car was found abandoned in Santa Clara with her purse inside. According ...
