The Murder of Yvonne J. Quilantang, June 1973

Yvonne Quilantang was born on July 11, 1957 in San Francisco to parents Terezo Vincent Quilantang and Evelyn Marie Quilantang (nee Leroy). Yvonne and her siblings were biracial, half white, half Asian: their father, Terezo, was an immigrant from the Philippines. Some sources from the 1970s mistakenly list Yvonne as Black. However, thorough research on Ancestry indicates that she was not Black, but instead Filipina. She was baptized Catholic. She was the youngest of six children: her older siblings are Sharon, Vincente, Michael, Linda, and Thomas; the latter was only two years older than her. Yvonne's father was a seaman. Her mother eventually grew unable to care for her, so Yvonne was "taken into a foster home, where she had lived almost since she could remember." She seemed to still be in contact with her birth family. The Disappearance of Pem Michelle Yates-Briggs, late 1970s

Very little is definitively known about Pem Michelle Yates-Briggs's disappearance. She was born on March 31, 1963 in Norfolk, VA. Her mother's birth name is Barbara Cecile Briggs, though she seems to have changed her name to Bo Monique Bradley some time after Pem's disappearance. According to Pem's half-sister, the man listed as Pem's father on her birth certificate was J Yates; however, this is supposedly not Pem's actual birth father. Photo from NamUs. At some point after Pem's birth, she and her mother moved to Oregon c.1971, and Barbara remarried to a man named Denman Wehrli Sr. Pem has two half-siblings from this marriage, born in 1972 and 1974, respectively: Dewana Wehrli (sister) and Denman E Wehrli Jr. (brother). According to Dewana, she (Dewana) was the product of rape by an unknown person during Barbara's marriage to Denman Sr. Pem may have used the surnames Yates, Briggs, Yates-Briggs, or Wehrli. The Murder of Constance Marie "Connie" Paris, March 1968

Constance Paris, who also went by the nickname Connie, was an 18-year-old senior at Englewood High School in Englewood, Arapahoe County, CO. She lived with her parents, James and Marylou Paris, and her two younger brothers, Chris, 15, and Jeff, 11. Her father, James, was a postal worker. The Paris family lived at 3965 S Lincoln St. Disappearance Connie was last seen by her family at about 5:30pm on Tuesday, March 26, 1968 when she left home to work on a research paper for school at the downtown Denver Public Library, as its resources were more abundant than those at the Englewood Public Library. It was reported that Connie went to the DPL's Central Library at W 14th Ave and Broadway. Connie finished working and packed up to leave at about 9:00pm, then rode on her usual 9:30pm bus home.
