The following article concerns unsolved murders in Orange County in 1980 and 1981, including those of Kerry Patterson and Tracy Lee Stratton.

One of the mentioned cases, that of Jeffrey Vargo, was later solved with the arrest and conviction of Kenneth Rasmuson in 2015 and 2021, respectively. Furthermore, it was later determined that Patty & Keith Harrington, as well as Manuela Witthuhn, were all murdered by EARONS/the Golden State Killer, Joseph James DeAngelo. 

I have so far been unable to find any updates on the status of the case involving the death of Khanh Cau Dang.
