The following article concerns some unsolved murders in Orange County as of 1988. Relevant cases include the murders of Dorothy Gale Brown, Vicki Miner, James Michael Gardner, and Frank & Shirley Schiavone. 

Other relevant murders mentioned in the article that have since been solved are those of Manuela Witthuhn, Anita Piteau (originally listed as unidentified), Linda Ann O'Keefe, Patricia Ann Ross, and Debora Kennedy.

Cases that I plan to look into as well are those of Jim Perry, Robert Robinson, Cindy Van Cott, Christine Wariner, Donna Rae Goodell, and Charlotte Schmidt.
