The following article lists women murdered in Denver from 1980 to May 1981. Cases of interest are those of LeCleta Jimerson, Verna Wehrle, Patricia Grimberg, Shelley Norman, Gail Martinez, and Kathleen Garcia.

Also of note is the murder of Marcella "Penny" Cooks. After a trial that ended sometime after the publication of this article, the man charged for her murder was declared not guilty; despite this, it seems that her case is still considered closed.

Cases listed here as open but have since been solved are those of Kristen Swanson in 2011 and Gwen Harris in 2022; the latter was determined through DNA to have been a victim of serial killer Joe Ervin. From what I could find, it seems that the murder of Joanne Hicks has also been solved.
