The following article concerns unsolved murders in Colorado Springs from 1970 to 1985. 

Mentioned cases include Linda Vernell Thompson, Mary E. Byrd, Brenda  Pierce, Francis Romisch, Donald Laabs, Carol Lynn Scott, and Peggy Sue Gaylord. Furthermore, at least one of the murders featured, that of Maria Loraine Honzell, has since been solved through DNA.
