The following article contains information on the murder of Artice Carter, as well as other local crime. Unfortunately the newspaper edition from the week of the discovery of Artecia's body is not available online. While all newspaper articles state that her first name was "Artice," according to the California Death Index her full name is "Artecia Marie Carter"; OK birth records, however, state that her first name was in fact Artice.
