The following article lists all homicides in Kern County in 1980. Also mentioned is Rayner Artiaga on the second page. Other cases of (possible) interest are those of: Lorna West, Willard Watts, Adolpho Landa, Norma Hartman, Michael Martinez, a Jane Doe found July 15th, Andrew Alfaro, Kalene O'Malley, Richard Isaac, Raymond Karim, Sarah Jean Hill, Petrina Moore, David Martin Gathings, and Park W. Turner.

Also mentioned are the murders of Patty Benson and Diana Notterman, which were solved with the conviction of Ted Wilson Shivers in 1984. Furthermore, in 1993, the two Jane Does listed as #s 26 and 27 below were identified as Charlena Simon and Robin Snead; the pair are believed, but not definitively confirmed, to be victims of serial killer Fernando Caro. Further research is needed on my part to determine the statuses of the other cases above.
