The Disappearance of Larry Dean Williams, 1975
Larry Dean Williams was born on March 5, 1959. Very little is known about him or his case. Larry’s date of disappearance is uncertain: some sources — Doe Network and NamUs — state that it was Tuesday, July 1, 1975, while all others state that it was Saturday, January 25, 1975; NamUs and DN both also mention his DLC as January 25. If Larry did in fact go missing in January, then he was 15 years old at the time; if in July, then he was 16.

Larry may go by the nickname Rabbit. He has blonde hair and brown eyes, and at the time of his disappearance he was 4’9 and 80 - 90 lbs. He has a chipped front tooth, as well as a hernia scar on his abdomen. Larry also has a burn scar on the crown of his head. It is unknown what he was wearing at the time of his disappearance.
Larry would be 66 years old if still alive today. NCMEC has created age progressions to 51 and 55 years old (c.2010 and 2015, respectively), which are available across the multiple databases. Neither his dental x-rays — or any dental records for that matter — nor his fingerprints are available for comparison, while his DNA is.
Larry is classified as Endangered Missing on both the Charley Project and the Doe Network. The Long Beach Police Department is investigating; the agency case number is 94-71409. His NCMEC case number is 1154483. Various different phone numbers for the Long Beach PD are given across the different sources: anyone with information regarding Larry should contact Long Beach PD at (562) 570-7260 (according to NamUs), 562-435-6711 (Charley Projesct and NCMEC), or 562-570-7201 (CA DOJ).
It is unknown when exactly Larry was reported missing, and by whom. Larry’s NamUs case was created on January 6, 2010 and last updated on January 18, 2024. His Charley Project page was last updated on August 21, 2019. His page on the Doe Network was created prior to 2011, and it was last updated on September 18, 2023. The NCMEC and NCIC case numbers are 1154483 and M769778148, respectively.
There are fifteen exclusions on Larry's NamUs page, thirteen of which were found in Virginia. The remaining two are San Bernardino John Doe July 1988 and Maricopa County (AZ) John Doe April 1982.
